We assist in all aspects of preparing competitive applications by:

  • Reviewing and advising on specific aims and study design early in the proposal development process
  • Reviewing resubmission applications to ensure a complete, accurate response to review feedback
  • Advising on funding agency guidelines and grant preparation procedures
  • Reviewing for consistency with funding announcement guidelines and agency priorities

Proposal Development and Review

We assist in all aspects of preparing competitive applications by:

  • Reviewing and advising on specific aims and study design early in the proposal development process
  • Reviewing resubmission applications to ensure a complete, accurate response to review feedback
  • Advising on funding agency guidelines and grant preparation procedures
  • Reviewing for consistency with funding announcement guidelines and agency priorities
  • Editing proposals for language and style, clarity and accuracy, grantsmanship, and consistency with funding announcement guidelines
  • Assisting in preparing supporting documents (e.g., biosketches, abstract etc)
  • Reviewing multi-investigator and multi-disciplinary grant applications for style and consistency
  • Advising on finding suitable funding sources
  • Working with TraCS Team Science to connect proposal teams with other NC TraCS grant personnel as needed
