We assist investigators by providing a general or detailed TraCS Letter of Support to strengthen grant applications.

A TraCS Letter of Support lends strength to a grant application by demonstrating that the applicant has access to all of the resources that our established CTSA has to offer. It can do so by outlining the services generally available to the project, or by describing project-specific services that NC TraCS can provide if the PI has discussed project needs with the individual TraCS service reps ahead of time.

NC TraCS Letters of Support

We assist investigators by providing a general or detailed TraCS Letter of Support to strengthen grant applications, or a letter of nomination.

Applicants may request a letter by submitting a TraCS Central request. We will require the following details initially (although we may contact the PI for further information):

  • Name of Project
  • Funding agency and funding announcement (URL if available)
  • Formal address(es) of project PI(s)
  • Draft Aims page or Abstract
  • Grant submission deadline

Please allow at least 10 working days for preparation of a Letter.
