We assist investigators in all aspects of the grant writing process including identifying funding sources, providing editorial support and scientific consultation, proposal review and grant application training and education.

Proposal Development and Review

• Review and advise on proposal grantsmanship and consistency with funding announcement guidelines
• Edit proposals for language/style and clarity
• Prepare supporting documents (e.g., biosketches, abstract etc)
• Review resubmission applications for responsiveness to reviewer feedback
• Advise on funding agency guidelines and grant preparation procedures
• Assist with identification of funding sources

NC TraCS Letters of Support

• Provide general or detailed TraCS Letter of Support to strengthen grant application

Mock Study Section

• Arrange ad hoc mock study sections to review applications and give feedback

Sample Applications

• Work with investigators to identify appropriate funding sources
• Provide samples of successful grant applications in a range of funding mechanisms

Seminars & Training

• Hold seminars on application development and grantsmanship
• Provide speakers to departments and schools on application development and grantsmanship
