This four-part, 8-hour unit provides a foundational understanding of implicit and explicit bias and their implications for service delivery. Participants will explore their personal perceptions and assumptions, as well as those of their organizations, and learn strategies to integrate new information and thinking into their work.
The training will build participant capacity to effectively implement, manage, and evaluate outcomes associated with implicit and explicit bias; allowing them to be able to align biases with organizational strategic plans.
Sessions will be held on Monday September 14, 10am-12pm and 1-3pm, and Tuesday September 15, 10am-12pm and 1-3pm. A registration fee of $75 and attendance at all sessions are required.
