Tracking Your Digital Health Intervention in Semblie

Thu. 27 Aug, 2020 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Once your digital health intervention is developed and delivered, tracking its impact can be also prove challenging. RTI created Semblie, an online platform, that allows users to build, deliver, and track web-based interventions without the help of a developer or graphic artist.

In the final installment of this 3-part webinar, sponsored by NC TraCS' Inclusive Science Program, we will demonstrate how Semblie can help you in tracking your tailored, interactive educational content and digital interventions.

TraCS Tales of Translation - Patrick Hurban, PhD

Thu. 27 Aug, 2020 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

TraCS Tales of Translation features experienced scientists from academia and industry discussing the many twists and turns that are a part of research careers in the life sciences. Participating scientists will be asked to speak informally about their career decisions and pivot points, what translation means to them, and their advice for early stage researchers. This week's researcher is Patrick Hurban, PhD.

Hurban is Senior Director and Global Head of Translational Genomics at Q2 Solutions, where he is responsible for the identification and implementation of new genomic capabilities, encompassing bioinformatics and wet-laboratory methods, as well as the development and validation of genomic assays to support research and clinical programs. He earned his Ph.D. in Human Genetics from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City before serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow of the American Cancer Society in the Department of Developmental Biology at Stanford University. Hurban has more than 25 years of experience in molecular genetics, including more than 18 years in positions of increasing responsibility in high-profile genomics-focused organizations.

There will be a Q&A session at the end.
