TraCS K12 Junior Faculty Career Development Program accepting applications for 2023

The NC TraCS Institute is pleased to open the application cycle for the NC TraCS K12 Junior Faculty Career Development Program.

The program is a mentored research and training experience to launch junior faculty toward careers as translational scientists. Selected Scholars receive up to 3 years of 75% salary support and funds for research and training. For more details and the application, visit the CTSA K12 Program webpage.

Submission deadlines & timeline

Letter of Intent: May 19, 2023

The letter does not need to be formal; an email will suffice. The letter should verify your intent to submit an application with your School/Dept., the working title of your application, your mentors/advisors and a few sentences about the research project goals and methods (up to a paragraph). We will use this information to identify reviewers while you are completing your application.

Applications due: June 2, 2023 by 8 a.m.

First offers: after June 12, 2023
Issuance of first offers with a deadline for acceptance so second offers can be issued if needed.

Start date: July 1, 2023
Start date when Scholars must shift to 75% time on the K12
