Career Development Award Writing Group – call for new members

TraCS is now taking applications for the next Career Development Award Writing Group. Individuals who are preparing NIH or foundation career development awards are eligible to participate in this 5-month series to receive training in the components of a career development award application and feedback on the application components as they are being written.

Participants for this round should be targeting submissions in October 2021 or later. The group will also accept those who are resubmitting applications.

  1. A brief letter of introduction including your current position, school/dept affiliation, award mechanism (e.g. K01) and agency.
  2. A list of confirmed mentors and/or mentor expertise you are still seeking.
  3. A paragraph describing the proposed research project and the topics for training.

Please submit the materials no later than 5 p.m., May 18, 2021. The first session will be scheduled at a time convenient for most participants.
