K and Career Development Award Writing Group – call for new members

TraCS is accepting new members for the next K and Career Development Award (CDA) Writing Group.

Individuals should be planning a K (K01, K08, K23 or K99) or CDA award submission in 2026. The group covers training in the components of the application and feedback on the components as they are being written. The group also accepts people who are resubmitting applications.

1. A brief letter of introduction in which you list your current position, school/department affiliation, award mechanism (e.g. K01) and agency
2. A list of confirmed mentors and/or mentor expertise you are still looking for
3. A paragraph describing the proposed research project and the topics for training

Please submit materials no later than 5 pm on October 31.
