TraCS accepting applications for Engagement Voucher program
NC TraCS is now accepting applications for the next round of Engagement Vouchers of up to $5,000. Vouchers can be used to support engagement-related activities during the pre-award period, including partner compensation, in-person meeting expenses (venue, food, transportation, childcare), and translation and interpretation.
Funded voucher projects will ideally support pre-award activities and lead to the pursuit and obtainment of future funding for engaged research and/or scientific products (abstracts, manuscripts). Post award engagement activities will also be considered if focused on developing or testing innovative or novel approaches (e.g., comparative methods, evaluation) that contribute to the evidence base related to the impact of engagement in research. All projects must be feasible to complete within a one-year timeframe.
