Registration open for the 2024 North Carolina Microbiome Symposium

The 2024 NCBC Microbiome Symposium will take place in person on Wednesday, May 22 at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center located at 15 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC.

Presentations include keynote speakers Drs. Martin J. Blaser (director of the Center for Advanced Biotechnology and Medicine at Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences and the Henry Rutgers Chair of the Human Microbiome and Professor of Medicine and Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey), and Maria Gloria Dominguez Bello (Henry Rutgers Professor of Microbiome and Health at Rutgers University).

The symposium will also feature poster sessions, networking time for trainees and the keynote speakers, companies, and lunch.

This will be a great opportunity for researchers to reconnect with fellow academia and industry scientists. All attendees must register and purchase a ticket. If you would like to present a poster, please submit an abstract as space will be limited.

Poster Session Guidelines

Trainee poster submissions will be accepted for this symposium. The best poster presented by Student, Post-doc, or Fellow will receive a prize. Anyone wishing to participate in the poster session must submit a title and abstract in PDF format by Friday, May 1 to Hannah Cole This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Abstracts should be 250 words or less.

Posters must be microbiome-related and no larger than 4 feet by 4 feet. Mounting materials will be provided. Please contact us directly with any questions about eligibility.
