Funding opportunity: Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia

A new funding opportunity invites new and renewal applications for the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Consortia (RDCRC), which make up the Rare Diseases Clinical Research Network (RDCRN). RDCRCs strive to advance and improve diagnosis, management, and treatment of rare diseases through collaborative and patient-centric research.

Since its inception, this program has successfully supported 33 individual RDCRCs, collectively conducting research on nearly 250 individual disorders. The research conducted within the RDCRN has contributed to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s approval for 11 treatments for rare diseases.
