CCPS Community Engaged Scholars Directory

The Community Engaged Scholars Directory has been created by the Carolina Center for Public Service (CCPS) to recognize UNC-Chapel Hill faculty and staff doing engaged scholarship and to help foster campus connections surrounding Carolina’s engagement. This Directory is the first campus wide list of staff and faculty whose work is community engaged. View the directory here.

If you perform Community Engaged Scholarship (see UNC’s definition below) and are not already listed in the Directory, please apply to be included by following these three steps:

  1. Visit the CCPS Application portal – if you have not already used the portal, you will need to create an account (there are instructions on the login page).
  2. On the left-hand menu, please click “Apply Here” under CES Directory and fill out all the information – this will redirect you to your CES Directory Profile.
  3. Across the top of your profile there will be tabs of the geographical area your community engaged scholarship works on and the issues your scholarship addresses. Fill out each tab of information in your CES Directory profile.

After CCPS reviews the information you provide, your profile will be approved and go live. If you have any questions, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
