There are a bewildering number of different kinds of graphs. There are conflicting recommendations (always show 0 on the axis, don't show 0 if the data don't include that value…). How do you know what's the right way to plot your data?

This talk will cover principles you can use to understand ways of presenting data and decide what's best for your situation.
