2019 Triangle Research Symposium

Join us for a day of presentations and discussion on the use of real-world data to inform clinical research and practice!

Real-World Evidence for Regulatory Decision-Making will be held on May 7, 2019 at RTI International. The symposium will bring together speakers from academia, industry, and federal agencies to discuss challenges, opportunities, analytic considerations, and future directions regarding the use of real-world evidence in health research and regulation.

We invite students and early investigators from UNC, Duke, or RTI to submit an abstract to be considered for presentation at the symposium.

Biostatistics Seminar Series

Provides clinical and translational researchers who have basic quantitative training in biostatistical methods with a more in depth understanding of selected topics and to introduce them to more advanced methods.

Harry Guess Memorial Lecture

Since 2008, the UNC Student Chapter of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology has sponsored the Harry Guess Memorial Lecture.

This lecture series was conceived of by UNC students to honor Dr. Guess, a man who built the pharmacoepidemiology program at UNC, and to remember his outstanding dedication to teaching and mentoring.
