Triangle Comparative Effectiveness Research Symposium

NC TraCS in collaboration with RTI International and Duke Clinical Research Institute, are sponsoring a CER symposium on April 11, 2017, which will take place at RTI International located in Research Triangle Park, NC.

The keynote address will be given by Dr. Arthur A. Stone, Professor of Psychology at University of Southern California Los Angeles and the Director of USC Dornsife Center for Self-Report Research. Dr. Stone is a nationally acclaimed expert on self-report and validation of medical and psychological outcomes and has played a pivotal role in NIH's Patient-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS) initiative.

Biostatistics Seminar Series

Provides clinical and translational researchers who have basic quantitative training in biostatistical methods with a more in depth understanding of selected topics and to introduce them to more advanced methods.

Harry Guess Memorial Lecture

Since 2008, the UNC Student Chapter of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology has sponsored the Harry Guess Memorial Lecture.

This lecture series was conceived of by UNC students to honor Dr. Guess, a man who built the pharmacoepidemiology program at UNC, and to remember his outstanding dedication to teaching and mentoring.
