CEHS Rising Star Initiative

Career Development Awards Available for Junior Faculty

Up To $10,000 per Award

Deadline April 8th

Early to early-mid career faculty who conduct environmental exposure research at UNC are eligible to participate. Annually, 2-3 Rising Star participants will be chosen by the Center for Environmental Health and Susceptibility (CEHS). These individuals will receive financial support and direct mentoring from the CEHS leadership group to promote the development of scientific and leadership skills.

Eligible expenses include:

  • Pilot Projects
  • Faculty support for career development activities
  • Travel to meetings or courses relevant to career development
