CTSA launches initiative to support multi-center trials

The CTSA program has launched a new collaborative initiative to support multi-center trials called the Trial Innovation Network (TIN).

The goal of the TIN is to execute multi-center trials better, faster and more cost-efficiently by innovatively addressing critical roadblocks in clinical trials and accelerating the translation of interventions into life-saving therapies.

The TIN features a single IRB system, master agreements, quality by design approaches, and a focus on evidence-based strategies for effectively conducting research. The TIN is designed to be a complementary resource to optimize clinical research, allowing Investigators to focus on the scientific questions.
