UNC-Duke-Wake Forest Pediatric Anesthesiology Conference scheduled

The 9th annual UNC-Duke-Wake Forest Pediatric Anesthesiology Conference has been scheduled for Saturday, September 17.

This year's theme is Best Practices in Pediatric Anesthesia Care. The conference will provide physicians, certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs), certified anesthesiologist assistants (CAAs), registered nurses, fellows and residents an up-to-date refresher on information, techniques, and current research relevant to the practice of pediatric anesthesia. The goals of this CME activity will be accomplished with lectures, forums, and pro/con debates that will assess participant feedback in real time, using an audience participation system. The ultimate goal is to provide participants with tools and information that will improve the quality and safety of the care they provide to the pediatric patient in the perioperative setting.
