Meet the new digital badge pathways from ACTS

In 2024, ACTS launched an exciting new digital badge initiative to offer members new tools for their career development. By introducing the first two badges in the Team Science Pathway, ACTS helped establish a new national standard for competency in team science, giving members and badge holders a unique leg up on their resumes.

ACTS has continued to explore options for more badges across more disciplines; and they are expanding their Digital Badging Program with the addition of two new pathways:

sample Community-Engaged Research Digital Badge

The Community-Engaged Research Digital Badge Pathway: Designed for those looking to further their career in or enter the field of community research. Earn these badges to showcase your knowledge of community engagement principles, such as fostering an effective team environment and building trust with community members.

sample Quantitative Team Science Digital Badge

The Quantitative Team Science Digital Badge Pathway: Designed for quantitative scientists working in multidisciplinary research teams. By earning these badges, you demonstrate your ability to apply team science principles to quantitative research, allowing you to operate effectively in a team environment.

The Foundations badges for both of these pathways are available to earn now. Earning criteria for all ACTS badges can be found on their Credly page.
