• Call for Scientific Sessions and Poster Proposals Open: August 3, 2026
• Call for Scientific Sessions Close: September 14, 2026
• Call for Poster Proposals Close: October 19, 2026
• Session Decision Notifications: October 2026
• Poster Decision Notifications: November 2026

Please Note:

Scientific programming sessions are expected to be no longer than 60 minutes, including time for Q&A.

Poster presentations will occur over two days and presenters will be assigned a date and time once accepted. All presenters are expected to share their scientific session in-person.
 

Important Details for Translational Science Scientific Proposals

• Translational Science 2027 will be IN PERSON ONLY. If selected, all scientific proposals must be presented in person in Washington, DC.
• Panel participants are typically from various institutions so meeting attendees receive the benefit of cross-institutional collaboration. However, this is not a requirement and in some cases, it is most appropriate for participants to be from the same institution, for example when presenting a unique program. Panel sessions are limited to 3-4 participants to ensure in -depth discussion of the topic. 
• A broad representation of background, career stage, and geographic locations is strongly encouraged.
