The CTSA Coordination, Communication, and Operations Support (CCOS) website now features a section on CTSA Program Impact.

The new section is designed to make the work and contributions of the CTSA Program more visible, accessible, and easier to explore.

Impact shows how CTSA-supported research and programs move beyond discovery to create meaningful changes in public health, healthcare, and communities. It leads to more effective treatments, better patient care, improved healthcare policies, better-prepared medical workforce, and guidance for productive medical research.

In the initial release, visitors will find:

  • a curated set of Impact Stories from CTSA hubs that illustrate real-world examples of progress, collaboration, and innovation
  • stories complemented by high-level indicators that provide additional context for the scope and reach of CTSA efforts

Featured TraCS stories include:

SLiCE: A New Way to Study Brain Cancer and a Powerful Example of Translational Science in Action

Early Check: Helping North Carolina Babies Get a Healthy Start

The CTSA Coordination, Communication, and Operations Support (CCOS) is funded by the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences, National Institutes of Health.
