SPLENDOR-NC accepting applications for 2-year scholars program

The primary objective of the RFA is to facilitate the success of early-stage faculty engaged in research in the fields of nutrition, obesity, and diabetes at the six participating institutions of SPLENDOR-NC: Duke University , North Carolina A&T State University , North Carolina Central University , University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill , Wake Forest University , and Winston-Salem State University .
Eligibility
- Senior post-doctoral fellows or Assistant Professors in either fixed-term or tenure-track positions at one of the six partnering institutions.
- A focus on advancing a research career in the area of nutrition, obesity, diabetes, and/or related research.
Application Guidelines
Complete applications must be submitted by 11:59 PM ET on Friday, March 28, 2025, using the online form . Applications must include an NIH-style biosketch and a one-page personal statement. Please use Arial 11pt font and 0.5″ margins.
The personal statement must include:
- Your research interests (250 words)
- Short- and long-term career goals (250-words)
- What you would like to get out of the Scholar Program, including your goals for the mentorship you will receive as part of the Program (250 words).
