Pilot and Feasibility awards up to 50K available through Michigan CDTR
In conjunction with the UNC Peers for Progress program, UNC-Chapel Hill colleagues are eligible to apply for Pilot and Feasibility awards of up to $50,000 through the University of Michigan Center for Diabetes Translational Research (MCDTR).
Grant proposals must focus on type 2 translational research in diabetes: the translation of research advances into widespread clinical or community practice. The research may focus on the identification of barriers to widespread adoption of new science and the testing of interventions to overcome those barriers. Applications addressing social determinants of health are encouraged.
Diabetes is defined broadly such as including prevention, obesity, related endocrine or metabolic disorders, etc.
Eligibility includes early career investigators as well as senior investigators who are new to diabetes translational research, or senior investigators proposing a project that is clearly a new departure and not related to their previous diabetes research.
Applications due April 2, 2025 at 5 p.m..
