Funding Opportunity: Cycle 2 of TraCS Clinical and Translational Science Awards

TraCS is seeking proposals that focus on understanding a scientific or operational principle underlying a step of the translational research process, with the goal of developing generalizable principles to accelerate translational research.

The NC TraCS Clinical and Translational Science (CTS) Pilot Program supports investigation focused on developing, demonstrating, and disseminating scientific and operational innovations that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of clinical translation so that advances can be applied to research on any target or disease.

Projects must be feasible within a one-year timeframe to begin ~ October 1, 2023, have high methodological and scientific quality.

A short "concept proposal" must be submitted by April 25, 2023. Applicants will be notified by May 9 if they are invited to submit a full proposal by July 11, 2023.
