Do you know a rockstar research coordinator? Nominate them to advise NC TraCS.

The Recruitment & Retention Program at NC TraCS is accepting nominations for research coordinators to serve on the newly created Research Coordinator Advisory Committee. Committee members will inform NC TraCS on the development of initiatives, resources, and training programs—particularly related to participant recruitment and retention.

Coordinators are most familiar with the barriers and successes that are encountered throughout the accrual process. This group will serve as a regular partner with our program leads to share expertise and ensure that new initiatives are grounded in the experiences of those interfacing with participants.

Nominees will be UNC coordinators with varied experiences, perspectives, and insights. Meetings will be in-person with lunch provided, on a quarterly basis to start. Committee members will help to decide on the regular schedule, term of membership, and how our program can best support their work in thanks for their contribution.

Members of the committee will:

  • Share research recruitment challenges, innovations, and insight
  • Collaborate on the development of recruitment initiatives and resources
  • Provide feedback on the utility and impact of existing resources
  • Expand recruitment insights to apply to their own research studies
  • Gain advisory experience and build an advocacy skillset

Nominations are due by December 9, 2022.
