As one of the top public research universities in the world, UNC-Chapel Hill's faculty, students, and staff are motivated to explore, innovate, and discover. Tar Heels are committed to seeking answers that help our campus community, citizens of our state, and beyond.

During the week of October 10 - 14, 2022, University Research Week (URW) events will highlight the impact that our research has on the state of North Carolina, and the exceptional achievements of Carolina researchers, across many disciplines, as they strive to answer, What's Next?

The celebration will also honor the scientific discovery and scholarly creativity of today and over our intuition's 229 year history during University Day on October 12th.

University Research Week is an annual, campus-wide event sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the Office of Undergraduate Research.
