Epic@UNC training updates for 2022

A message from UNC Health

Epic@UNC Trainers will welcome teammates back into the classroom starting Jan. 24, 2022. The team is also excited to offer 20 new accelerated/test-out options, 92 online courses—which were previously instructor-led—and new hybrid/blended platforms.

Some training and/or classes may have changed. To best prepare for this transition, we recommend that managers:

  • Make a list of all of the different roles in your department
  • Discover the proper Epic@UNC curriculum for that role in LMS
  • Are aware of what Epic@UNC Template is associated to that role
  • Make note of what Epic@UNC training is required to obtain that Epic@UNC Template
  • Make this available to others in the case of your absence or departure
  • Use the how-to guide available in LMS: Using the LMS Library and Curricula to Register Yourself or Others for Epic@UNC Training
