UPDATE: Collaborative pilot program launches for UNC and N.C. A&T researchers

Due to strong response from both campuses, the deadline has been extended for all interested teams for the N.C. A&T and UNC Looking Forward Pilot Program. The UNC and N.C. A&T Vice Chancellors for Research have launched a large-scale pilot program: Looking Forward: N.C. A&T and UNC-CH Collaborative Research.

This program was developed to respond to both campus's desire for collaborative projects among investigators. $100K per year for two years will be provided to dual-PI projects (co-leads from N.C. A&T and UNC required) in the areas of:

  • Data Science and Society
  • Environment, Climate and Environmental Justice
  • Health Disparities

Two-page expressions of interest are due by January 4, 2022. Successful teams will receive invitations to submit full proposals on or around January 28, 2022, with a full proposal deadline to be confirmed at a later date.
