NC TraCS Award Announcements

The NC TraCS Institute is pleased to announce awardees for the 127th cycle of the TraCS $2K pilot grants.

In total, 7 applications were received and 3 were chosen for funding. Awardees include investigators from UNC’s Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute, School of Medicine, East Carolina University, and NC State University. The 3 projects are listed below.

TraCS $2K Pilot Grant Program

    Project Title: Analyzing the role of social networks in promoting effective implementation of the Triple P Positive Parenting Program
  • Alan Ellis, Social Work, NC State University
    Project Title: Developing a Comparative, Multilevel Model of Psychotropic Medication Use in Children
  • Leah Ranney, Family Medicine, School of Medicine
    Joseph Lee, Health Education & Promotion, East Carolina University
    Sarah Kowitt, Family Medicine, School of Medicine
    Project Title: Risk Perceptions and Consumer Responses to Marijuana Dispensary Packaging
