Save the dates - upcoming cross-cutting workshops

Please make note of the following dates for upcoming, cross-cutting, aging research workshops. We invite anyone interested to each of the following sessions:

  • Biology of Aging – Monday, October 7
  • Services and Interventions – Monday, November 11
  • Society and Aging – Monday, December 9

Within each session you will be able to format a pitch for a conference grant and map your research assets (people, data resources, etc.) to each topic while also identifying major gaps. The organizers will be prepared to bring current and future RFAs to the discussion.

At the end of these workshops, the aging group expects to produce a draft whitepaper to present with university leadership describing the opportunity, current assets, and roadmap for near and long-term next steps in aging research, potentially including conference grants, R01s, P30/P50s, and T-grants.
