Call for applications: Career Development Award Writing Groups

We are now taking applications for the next Career Development Award Writing Groups. Individuals who are preparing NIH or foundation career development awards are eligible to participate in a 5-month series of working sessions in which they receive training in the components of the application and feedback on their application from peers and faculty. Participants for this round should be targeting submissions in early 2020, e.g. February 2020 for NIH deadlines. There will be a later group for submissions June 2020.

To participate, please send the following materials to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:

  • Let us know whether you have secured mentors and who they are or will need to identify mentors
  • A paragraph describing the research you are proposing and the training needs you have identified

Please submit the materials no later than 5 pm on September 3. The first session will be scheduled at a time that works for the most participants.
