EMERSE online training now available!

You probably know that much of the data needed for research and quality improvement are only available in clinical notes. But did you know that there's an alternative to searching through all those data notes over and over again? EMERSE provides users with the ability to search these valuable sources of data easily!

How can you gain access to and learn about such valuable data for your research? Well, we are happy to announce that an online, self-paced EMERSE training is now available! This 30-45 minute training covers what EMERSE is, regulatory requirements of EMERSE, and basic EMERSE functionality. It is accessible through the UNC Health Care System's LMS.

Completion at the training session is a prerequisite for using EMERSE. Effective May 1, 2019, EMERSE training is required for all users, regardless of whether they are university or health system employees.
