Find a Collaborator
Do you need a medical topic expert to help translate your basic science to human health? Our Team Science service connects teams and researchers to investigators.
For best results in a successful connection with a collaborator, be prepared with the following information:
- What is the specific role you want this person to take? For example, is it a team member? Co-PI or Co-I? Or do you need a short-term consultation on an issue or problem?
- What is the specific expertise needed? For example, do you need an epidemiologist or a biostatistician? Does your injury prevention expert need to work with young children or adolescents?
It will be helpful if you can provide an abstract with objectives, methods, and anticipated results. If an abstract is not available, a brief summary that describes your objectives or specific aims for the study will be useful.

UNC Network for Research Professionals (NRP)
The UNC-NRP is a peer group that is open to all research personnel on campus to help increase awareness and communication of best practices through a series of educational seminars, resources, mentoring and networking programs.
This forum helps facilitate campus-wide improvements in the overall management of clinical, social, and translational research.
