Health Equity Research Training and Research Presentation Travel Awards focused on Southeastern North Carolina now available

The Health Equity Research Advisory Council (HERAC) is now accepting applications for two opportunities: the Health Equity Research Training Awards and the Health Equity Research Presentation Travel Fund.

Health Equity Research Training Awards — to reimburse between $500-$1,650 to fund training for investigators interested in conducting health equity research relevant to Southeastern North Carolina.

Health Equity Research Presentation Travel Fund — sponsoring research travel awards to reimburse up to $1,650 each for investigators interested in presenting health equity research relevant to Southeastern North Carolina to an academic or community outlet.

The Health Equity Research Advisory Council (HERAC) is a joint committee composed of research leaders from Novant Health and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine (UNC-SOM).
