The New England Journal of Medicine recently featured a roundtable discussion Race in Medicine — Genetic Variation, Social Categories, and Paths to Health Equity.

It deals with the important, controversial, fluid and challenging question of the role of "race" in medicine, specifically considering genetic variation, societal aspects and the path to health equity.
