Power and Sample Size for Multilevel and Longitudinal Study Designs

This three-day power and sample size workshop will provide training for scientists in selecting a valid sample size for multilevel and longitudinal study designs. The workshop is accessible to all, from graduate students to senior researchers, and requires a basic statistical background.

Instructors are Keith E. Muller, Ph.D., professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine, and Deborah H. Glueck, Ph.D., associate professor at the University of Colorado School of Public Health. Sponsors include the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Institute and the Gillings School of Global Public Health Department of Biostatistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the University of Florida's Clinical and Translational Science Institute.
