Co-authored by Dr. Dan Reuland, Clinical Professor of Medicine (Division of General Medicine & Clinical Epidemiology), the results of a study funded through an NC TraCS – UNC CDTR pilot grant was recently published in The Diabetes Educator.

Researchers tested a modified Spanish-language version of a Mediterranean-style dietary intervention among Hispanic American patients and evaluated the modified intervention for feasibility and acceptability. The EnForma-Diabetes intervention proved to be feasible and acceptable to study participants.
