Mapping a Network Drive - MAC

MAC Instructions   Windows Instructions

1. From the Finder, hit Command+K (MAC Command Key graphic+ K)

2. Enter the path to the network drive you want to map, ie:
smb://ad.unc.edu/med/tracs/groups/research/CDWH/{PI_Last_Name}_{PI_First_Name}_IRB{#}

3. Type in AD\{ONYEN Username}. Enter your password and click “Connect”

The drive is now mounted.

Continue with the instructions below if you would like to map for system reboot persistence.

1. Enter into System Preferences, from the Apple menu
2. Click on ‘Users & Groups’
3. Click on “Login Items”
4. Click on the + button to add another login item
5. Locate the network drive/folder you previously mounted and click “Add”
6. Exit out of System Preferences

Your network drive will now be mapped and automatically remounted when you reboot your Mac.
