Description

If you are a research professional, it's your job to meet each potential participant wherever they are on the continuum of willingness to engage with research. In this research bubble, it is all too easy to forget that many of the people being helped may actually know very little about what you do and why it is important. That's why research coordinators are often tasked with the key interaction that influences a person's willingness to participate in a study: the pitch.

Join the NC TraCS Research Recruitment and Retention program to learn how to craft a variety of elevator pitches, how to gauge your audience, and how to appropriately adjust your approach for successful recruitment. Even if someone decides not to participate in your study - you can leave an impression which may make them more willing to consider research again in the future.
