Description
The NC Office of Minority Health and Health Disparities (NC OMHHD), a division of the NC Department of Health and Human Services, aims to promote and advocate for the elimination of health disparities among all racial and ethnic minorities and other underserved populations in North Carolina. Join us for a conversation with the NC OMHHD's Executive Director, Cornell Wright, MPA, to learn more about the leading health disparities across our state, what the NC OMHHD is doing to address these disparities, and how NC TraCS and researchers at UNC can position themselves to support this work and eliminate disparities.
In an effort to encourage a two-way dialogue and discussions around the UNC Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) Program at UNC, NC TraCS holds regular OPEN TO ALL information sessions. CTSA Conversations provides an opportunity for faculty, staff, students and others from across the region to understand the goals of the national CTSA effort. We invite you to share your views, ask questions, and engage with leadership regarding the UNC CTSA program and the services and resources we offer.
Refreshments will be served.
