2011-12 Fellows

The Doris Duke Clinical Research Fellowship (DDCRF) Program at UNC Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) is focused on training the next generation of physician scientists in the skills and insights needed to build a successful career in research. Our goal is to provide DD Fellows with an experience performing interdisciplinary, team-oriented research that translates scientific discoveries into clinical applications.

The UNC DDCRF program is based in the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences Institute (NC TraCS) which is located in the middle of the Health Sciences campus. This location allows DD Fellows to draw upon the faculty and resources in our Schools of Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, Dentistry and Nursing. In addition, UNC Fellows benefit from an active group of DDCRF Alumni who have returned to the UNC-CH campus for residency, fellowship or junior faculty positions. Our Alumni truly enjoy being involved in the program and act in a variety of capacities from role models to career advisors to mentors. The result is an exceptional fellowship experience that builds a strong foundation for a future research career.
