The NC TraCS Institute announces a 1-week course titled “Introduction to Study Design and Strategies for Data Analysis.” This course is intended as an introduction to statistical terms, methodologies and analysis strategies most commonly used in clinical/translational research.
The course will be held July 28 - August 1, 2014 from 8 am – 12 pm each day in the Medical Biomolecular Researc Building (MBRB), room G202.
Course content:
1. Basic study designs used in clinical/translational research
2. Overview of Statistical methodology- definitions and examples
3. Introduction to analysis strategies- which statistical methods are appropriate for various types of data
Once registered, participants will receive additional information on recommended, but optional, course textbooks.
