The MSCR program is an interdisciplinary research degree program housed within the Department of Epidemiology in the Gillings
School of Global Public Health but jointly sponsored by the NC TraCS (North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences) Institute.
The program is designed to develop the skills necessary for a successful career as a principal investigator and collaborator in
clinical and translational research. The MSCR requires a minimum of 36 semester hours of credit and is designed as a two-year program with at
least two full semesters in residence. The program may be completed on either a part-time or full-time basis.
